Seeing Newry renewed by the love of Jesus
Hello, and welcome to The Grove.
My name is Natalie Trainor, and I have the privilege of leading this new church community in Newry. Originally from Donaghadee, I came to Newry as the Pioneer Evangelist in 2023 and am passionate about helping people discover the hope, purpose, and new life found in Jesus.
As a mum and someone who understands both the joys and challenges of everyday life, I believe church should be a place where people can be real, find support, build meaningful friendships, and grow in faith together.
The Grove was planted with a simple vision: to help people encounter Jesus, grow as His disciples, and become part of a loving community that serves Newry and the surrounding area.
Whether you've been following Jesus for many years, are exploring faith for the first time, or are simply curious about who we are, you'll find a warm welcome here. We'd love to meet you, hear your story, and help you feel at home.

Who we are…
At The Grove, we are a community rooted in truth, growing together in grace, and reaching out in love, that we might see lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Like a tree planted by streams of water (Psalm 1:3; Jeremiah 17:8), we seek to be a place of spiritual nourishment, where people come to faith in Christ, deepen their walk with God, and bear good fruit in their lives (John 15:5-8).
What Matters here?
God-centred - Jesus is at the heart of everything we do. We seek to worship God, listen to His voice, and follow His leading in our daily lives.
Real - We believe faith is lived honestly. We create space for questions, struggles, doubts, and growth as we journey together.
Open-handed - We seek to live generously with our time, gifts, resources, and hospitality, sharing what God has entrusted to us.
Valuing People - Every person is created in God's image and deeply loved by Him. We want everyone to feel seen, welcomed, and valued
Expectant - We believe God is still at work today. We pray boldly, trust His promises, and look for His transforming presence in our lives and community.
